The Club meet in the Kings Nympton Parish Hall at 7.30 pm on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. No meeting in August. We have speakers, demonstrations and for the occasional meeting we travel and visit a venue of interest. Each year we arrange a Christmas Lunch and an outing during July. The Club year is from April to the following March when we have our AGM, at this meeting a programme of events for the following year is given to all members.
The Tuesday Club welcomes male as well female members wanting to join, or as guests wishing to attend just one or two meetings. The annual subscription is £15, non-members £3 per evening.
The Club was formed after the Kings Nympton's branch of the W.I. was disbanded in approximately April 1987. Mrs Stella Stark was the Chairman of the WI at the time and she and others suggested to continue to meet and start another organisation to replace it.The Tuesday Club was then inaugurated and has been in existence ever since.
Anyone wishing to find out more about the Club please contact below, or look up Tuesday Club on the Community website. Everyone is most welcome to join us at any of the meetings but if you are not a member, it would help if you telephoned or emailed beforehand. If you decide to become a full member, a programme of future speakers is given.
For further information please telephone Rosemary Lunn on: 01769 580368
